The POCO was launched by Xiaomi to offer phones with flagship specs at affordable price. The POCO brand is quite promising from the start when they launched the Poco F1 at a very cheap price. Continuing the legacy of Poco F1, Today the brand announced the Poco F2 Pro at an affordable price tag of €499 (Roughly Rs. 41,000 in India).

If you think you’ve already seen that smartphone than you’re not wrong, it shares the design with the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro that was launched in China later this year. This device seems to be launched as a rebranded variant although.

Poco F2 Pro- Under the Hood

Poco F2 Pro continues the legacy where the Poco F1 left, It comes with the top-tier Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC along with X55 Modem for 5G connectivity support. The device comes in two variants — 6GB+128GB & 8GB+256GB. The devices a decent 4,700 mAh battery with fast charging support for up to 30W that can fill the complete juice within an hour.

For the display, Poco F2 Pro comes with a notch-less display, the brand has swapped the notch by adapting to the motorized Pop-up camera for the selfie shooter. The display also comes with the support of HDR 10+ and 180Hz touch response rate.

Poco F2 Pro- Camera Department

In the camera department, the device comes with a quad-camera setup on the back. The main highlight is the 64MP Sony IMX686 Wide Angle Primary Sensor w/ f/1.9 Aperture, with a large 1/1.7” sensor size, 0.8μm pixels pre-binning, and dual stabilization through EIS plus OIS, as well as HEIF image format support and 8K video recording support. Other sensors include a 13MP wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 5M macro sensor that supports up to 50mm macro photography.

The front popup camera is a 20MP shooter capable of 120fps slow-motion.

Poco F2 Pro- Pricing & Availability

The base variant of Poco F2 Pro with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM starts at €499 (Roughly Rs. 41,000) while the top-end variant with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM starts at €599 (Roughly Rs. 49,000). The Poco F2 Pro is available in four color variants — Neon Blue, Phantom Blue, Electric Purple, and a Cyber Grey.

Poco F2 Pro is available for purchase starting today from Gearbest and AliExpress and will be available on several other platforms including Amazon.com and Poco.net soon. Poco F2 Pro is current not available in India but according to some recent rumors, Xiaomi will be launching the device under Redmi Branding for this phone in India.
