Reliance Jio was rumored to launch its online grocery app back in January 2020, and now its no longer a rumor. Reliance Jio has officially launched the JioMart App in over 200 Cities in India after a successful trial in Mumbai and Pune. The JioMart will take on some other popular online grocers including the BigBasket, Amazon Pantry, Prime Now, Flipkart SuperMart, Grofers, and others.
JioMart is referred to as “Desh ki Nayi Dukan”, enables its users to purchase groceries and daily essentials via its website. Unexpectedly, the service is currently unavailable for smartphones but we can expect the JioMart App Soon. JioMart got a handy feature called “Search with List”, as the name suggests, It lets you create your entire shopping list and lookup for each item in one swift go. JioMart also offers services on WhatsApp but it’s not serviceable at all pin codes.
JioMart: First Look at Web Interface
JioMart is currently not available in my town, but it is expected to be available soon. The web interface looks quite minimal and familiar like Flipkart holds. You can browse all categories and access each product page with ease. For Sign, all you need is your phone number and e-mail address to begin the process.
As already revealed by Beebom, search engine needs an algorithm tweaks for finding searches in Hindi more frequently.
JioMart: Launch Discounts
JioMart currently offers up to 15%-20% discount of select products, while a regular 5%-7% discount is available for almost every product on JioMart, JiomArt will be using Reliance Fresh, Reliance Retail Outlets for quick deliveries across the town.
