Yesterday, Chinese Smartphone Giant Xiaomi announces to donate Rs 15 Crores for the various relief funds that are making efforts to fight against COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemics.
Xiaomi’s India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain recently announced these funds by a tweet. He mentioned in the statement that-
“Xiaomi makes a donation of Rs. 10 Crores in the PM’s Relief Fund & various state CM’s Care Fund. Xiaomi will be also donating face masks and protective suits to hospitals across the country.”

It is also reported that Xiaomi had requested its employees to donate in the noble cause through PM’s Relief Fund, CM’s Care Fund, and others by donating a part of their salaries. Oppo also donates Rs. 1 Crore in PM’s Relief Fund earlier this week.
