The main reason behind the fallen sales is the phone’s $1980 huge Price Tag, which indirectly makes it a very expensive phone for the commercial market. If reports are correct, then the Samsung Galaxy Fold Lite may launch alongside with the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Series lineup.
Recently, Leakster Max Weinbach has revealed that the Samsung is reported working on new Samsung Galaxy Fold Lite, a new foldable phone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC.
I have some info on the Galaxy Fold Lite.
-Galaxy Fold Lite 4G
-256GB storage
-Mirror Black, Mirror Purple
-Display has no UTG
-Will be equipped with a mix of 2018/19/20 parts
-outside will probably have a smaller display (not like on Fold, but more like the Z Flip)— Max Weinbach (@MaxWinebach) May 12, 2020
Codenamed, Winner2, the Samsung Galaxy Fold Lite is said to be offer 256GB of internal storage. It would be available in two color options — Mirror Blue and Mirror Purple and will you around $1,099 (approx Rs. 82,800). Leakster Weinbach suggests the device will be made of aluminium and glass on outside. Tweet also suggests, the phone will be equipped with parts from 2018, 2018, & 2020.
As Weinbach claims the Galaxy Fold Lite will be priced at $1,099, it would be just $100 more expensive than the base variant of Galaxy S20. However, the Galaxy Fold Lite will not offer 5G connectivity as in Galaxy S20.
