Motorola Edge+: A Flagship by Motorola After 2 Years
After almost two years of wait, Motorola has been back in flagship devices global market with the launch of Motorola Edge+ back at the end of April. The Lenovo-owned brand is now bringing its flagship to the Indian Market as well. According to the listing on Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart. Motorola is set to launch the Motorola Edge+ on May 19th, 2020 via an online event.
Motorola Edge+: Specifications & Features
Motorola Edge+ runs the vanilla Android 10 with almost similar UI. The Motorola Flagship phone sports a large 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED Display with refresh-rate of 90Hz and also supports HDR10+. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 SoC and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
In the camera department, the phone packs a quad-camera setup on the back including — a 108MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultrawide sensor, an 8MP telephoto sensor, and a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. On the front, it packs a 25MP selfie shooter on the hole-punch display.
Motorola Edge+ includes a 256GB internal storage and it is non-expandable by any means. It packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery inside with up to 18W Fast-Charging support, 15W Wireless Charging, and a 5W reverse charging support. The phone also includes an in-display fingerprint and a 3.5mm Headphone Jack.
Motorola Edge+: Price and Availability
The Motorola Edge+ will be available in India for purchase via Flipkart only. The phone is suggested to be unveiled on May 19th, 12 PM. The listing on Flipkart does not show any kind of pricing info yet. We already know that the Motorola Edge+ was launched with the price tag of $999 (roughly Rs. 75,800) in the United States. We can expect the price to be around something between Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 81,000. Unless Motorola decides to go rough in the country.
