Microsoft Ignite 2020

After many Tech-Giants cancelled their events or move their events online due to the COVID-19(Coronavirus) outbreaks, recently Microsoft joined the other Tech-Giants too as Microsoft announced to move it’s ‘Ignite 2020’ event online taking the COVID-19 as a major concern. It is also reported that the Redmond-Based Software Giant will move all it’s events to online until Summer 2021.

As reported by ZDNet, Microsoft will move it’s internal and public events scheduled between July 2020 to June 2021 to online events.

That implies, Microsoft’s Ignite 2020, a developer conference will also move online. Microsoft had already confirmed via Ignite’s Official Website.

Microsoft states on the website that:

The safety of our community is top priority. In light of global health concerns due to COVID-19, we will deliver our annual Microsoft Ignite conference as a digital experience, in lieu of an in-person event.

We look forward to bringing together our community to learn innovative ways to build solutions, migrate and manage your infrastructure, and connect with Microsoft experts and other technology professionals from around the globe. Stay tuned for more details to come.

Microsoft had posted a similar note on the different websites for its events including Build 2020 & MVP summit 2021.

It is noted that, The MVP Summit 2020 had been scheduled to take place from March 15, 2020, but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemics in the States.
