Enable Modern File Explorer in Windows 10 without any problems
As reported by WindowsLatest later back a year ago, the latest version of Windows 10X Emulator that was shipped for developers comes with a new improved & faster beta build of modern File Explorer. As of now, Microsoft has officially announced that the project Windows 10X has been canceled. We can say that the new File Explorer for Windows is still in its early days but it’s being updated quite rapidly and we could expect it’s been built from the stretch so that it could be fully optimized for the upcoming Windows OS.
Expected Launch
The new File Explorer often feels slower than the current File Explorer and its capabilities are currently limited to system files only, but Microsoft is also working on local file support and I think we’ll get it enabled soon. The new file manager has been completely optimized for dual-screen and touch devices which Microsoft was about to launch in the Spring Event 2020 but it’s a delay for now due to the COVID-19(Coronavirus) Pandemics, but it also works well with mouse and keyboard.
In its current form, Explorer design looks more like Microsoft Edge but the company has included a number of visual tweaks that bring the file manager in line with Windows 10’s new design language.

What’s New Inside in Modern File Explorer?
Unfortunately, it doesn’t have Fluent Design, animations, or translucent background for now but it’ll surely get them in the future updates. There are no settings options, sidebar, view panel, and other tools that traditional File Explorer have. For now, there’s only get a search bar, context menu, and filters. The app supports both light and dark modes as well as it easily adapts to Windows 10’s built-in theme settings. This new File Explorer is still a work-in-progress and there’s not much you can do with it at this point.
