According to some latest reports, some retailers have listed Asus & Lenovo laptops with upcoming next-gen AMD Ryzen 5000 Processors inside them. The new leaks revealed that specifications are full of surprises, and reasonable are compared to their DESKTOP variants.
The Ryzen 5000H & 5000U series are the upcoming mobile processing chips from AMD with integrated Vega Graphics for Laptops. These chips will be replacing old Renoir Architecture, based on Zen 2, with two architectures: the high-end top-notch series will use Cezanne Architecture based on Zen 3 design, while the rest will be using Lucienne Architecture, based on Zen 2 designs.

Although, there’s only a small clock increase for the new Cezanne’s as compared to Renoir Architecture but after combining them with ~20% IPC improvements of Zen 3, we can expect impressive performance improvements over Renoir Architecture.

Cezanne and Lucienne are intermixed for U-Series, which is designed for thin & light-weight laptops. Among the Cezanne parts, the boost clocks have been kicked up to 100-300MHz as compared to Renoir, while the base clocks are still the same.
It will be a hurry to compare AMD Ryzen 5000 APUs with their Intel counter-parts but it will be awesome to check them out. Cezanne and Lucienne are expected to appear in a greater variety of devices, from a greater variety of manufacturers than Renoir.
