Recently, there were some reports of Xiaomi working on a smartphone with a powerful 144MP camera sensor, however, the Chinese Smartphone is looking for something far better in the upcoming days.
As reported by Leakster Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi in partnership with Samsung is working on a phone with a Snapdragon 765G SoC, and a 192-Megapixel Primary Sensor.
Reportedly, Samsung is already working on a 150MP 1″ Sensor and Xiaomi will be the first to use it. Xiaomi was also the first brand to release a phone with 108MP primary sensor.
Qualcomm already mentions on their Snapdragon 765G specification sheet page that the SoC could support up to 192MP single camera. As chipset powerful enough to support a 192MP camera by itself, no external chips will be needed.
Some upcoming phones like Mi Note, Oppo Reno Series or Vivo Z Series flagships can easily equip the 192MP primary sensor of the phone. There’s a Moto Edge also coming with 765G SoC that could also equip the 192MP camera sensor.
Currently, there’s nothing much given about the 192MP camera sensor, so no one can say anything about it. Something further will be confirmed after some more relevant leaks.
